    This globe measures 11 1/8" to the opening of the globe.  The circumference is 37 1/4" in diameter around the globe.  This globe is neckless, no neck and has an opening of 5 1/4" .  This globe is meant to fit on a an application requiring a 5 1/4" neckless globe usually secured by spring clamped mechanism.  Please check your fixture or existing globe for reference.  Acrylic is the type of material that they are made of.  These globes are absolutely UV stabalized and resistant to UV rays.  Acrylic is a material resistant to weathering and aging and has an exceptional brilliance.  The shine does not diminish even after prolonged use, thanks to an optimum surface hardness.
