    Description

A amber free blown glass pitcher in the South Jersey tradition which is considered one of the hardest items in the entire field of early American blown glass to put an exact date on as far as time of manufacture. The pitcher stands approximately 8 1/4" tall and is blown in medium amber glass of medium weight with a crimped foot and a applied handle. The base has a open pontil and shows plenty of legitimate wear and i am not really sure of its period (1840's) or if its circa 1920's so you buy it that way. Condition - excellent free of any chips, cracks or stains.
