    Description

This listing is for Anthony Davis Signed Autographed USC Trojans Riddell Mini Helmet.  It has a very clear signature and Anthony added his moniker, "Notre Dame Killer,"  to the helmet.  The helmet has no apparent scratches or blemishes and is in fantastic shape.  The helmet will be shipped USPS Priority Mail within the continental USA only and you will be provided tracking information.  Anthony Davis was one of the best and most well known college running backs of the early 1970's playing for the Southern California Trojans (USC).  He is probably best known for having scored 11 touchdowns in three games against Notre Dame between 1972 and 1974.  The attained the nickname of the "Notre Dame Killer." Anthony burst into national prominence in the 1972 ND-USC game when he scored 6 touchdowns, two of which were kickoff returns.  In 1974 he led another amazing comeback by USC against Notre Dame.  The Trojans trailed the Fighting Irish by 24 points late in the first half when Anthony scored a touchdown on a short pass.  He then returned the 2nd Half Kickoff for a touchdown and then added two more touchdowns, including a two-point conversion after the 4th touchdown. Amazingly, Anthony scored four touchdowns and scored 26 points in less than one quarter of play.  USC went on to best ND 55-24.  Unfortunately for Anthony, the Heisman voting had already concluded and voters did not get to consider this incredable performance.  He finished 2nd in the voting to Archie Griffin. Still, USC won the National Title, as it had in 1972.  Anthony also played on the USC baseball team which won 3 National Titles while he was there.  In total, Anthony won 5 National Titles in his years at USC and he made the cover of Sports Illustrated three times.  Anthony's career in professional football was forgettable, but his time at USC was legendary.  He was enshrined in the College Hall of Fame in 2006. This helmet would be a special gift for any Trojan fan or anyone who loves college football.  Thanks for looking.  Please let us know if you have any questions.  Your satisfaction is our biggest concern.
