Don't you just love these French BeBe's
.  This French 'E.D.' is 17 inches tall.  For reference see page #193 in 'Doll Values' 13th edition by Linda Edward.  This beauty has an open mouth.  These dolls were made in France from 1857 until 1899.  She has beautiful bisque that does not have any hairlines as examined by a black light.  All her slender fingers are there with no repair.  She is missing one earring on left ear and the tiny part of the bottom of her left ear is broken away. Other then that, she is in generally excellent condition.  Her outfit is newer.    She has a French human hair wig with a antique cork pate.  She is marked on the back of the head - "E 7 D Depose".  There is some writing on the back of the body (see photo) but I cannot make out what it says.  This is a very nice example.  From my home to yours.
