Description

BEN HUR COFFEE JAR, ORIGINAL LID, PAPER LABEL, EARLY VINTAGE.
Offered here, an early (1930s) Ben Hur coffee jar with its original litho lid.  This is the smaller jar standing 5 3/4" high, with a 4 1/4" bottom diameter and a 3 3/8 lid diameter.,  The paper label is in good condition with only one faded stripe as shown.  The lid is in used condition with with remnants of a paper label stuck on.  This might soak off with no damage to the underlying printing.  Some things that are printed on the lid are: "Percolator medium coarse cut", "Quality coffee. Instant flavor release", and "Vary measurements to suit your taste".  The jar is good quality pressed glass but it does not bear the Hazel Atlas mark on the bottom as later Ben Hur jars do.  Thanks for looking into my auctions.
