Bexley Sleeve Filler Custom 18K Nibs StubGold plated TRIM

Description

I purchased this pen from Terry Johnson at the turn of the century.  Terry was co-owner of Avalon Jewlers (Zionsville, In) and creator of the Private Reserve Ink collection.  This was a limited edition design Terry commissioned from Bexley Pens in Columbus,Ohio.  The orange swirl in the pen matches the Private Reserve Orange Lightening ink (partial bottle included).
Terry was a great guy and I always stopped in when I was visiting Indianapolis. I usually left with a pen.
I believe this is what he called a stub nib, but I can't be certain.
The design is really unique. You unscrew the bottom of the pen and slide it down. This is exposes the filler bar and ink sac. You simply press the filler bar to fill the sac.   I think the design came originally from Conklin.
Pen has been stored with my pen collection in a climate controlled environment.  Pen is being sold because I am reducing my collection in retirement.
