  • Condition: No cracks or stains. There are 2 small shallow chips. See last picture. I have circled each. Between the chips the edge of the glass is a rough to the touch, like you scrapped it on cement, but no chips. I drew an arrow to this. The roughness is on the center layer of glass and the chips are on the bottom layer of glass. I'm not sure if there is gold wear to the top or Francis did some partial gold applications.

    Description

Early Higgins Glass Tray with Metal decoration Signed with Raised Stickman
This listing is for a very rare early Higgins glass tray. This tray measures 10 inches square and has 3 layers of glass with metal decoration along 2 sides. The design is a pattern of  abstract blobs and leaves with subtle gold outlines. The layers of glass are fused with trapped air to created a naturalistic frost effect. It is signed "higgins"on the back (see pictures) along with the raised stickman figure.
