    Description

    Lovely vase by Michael Boylen 5 1/4 inches high.  Two inner chambers done in the classic Boylen style.  Very fine green wash for much of the vase with purple highlights.  Signed Michael Boylen with the numbers 212.  Boylen has recently retired from his academic position in an art department where he was known in his later years for ceramics.  This piece is pristine with no chips, cracks, or dings.  Really a wonderful Michael Boylen vase.
