    This unique, one of a kind piece of postal ephemera, this letter is from the estate of the late, Colonel Hadley N. Thompson,
    湯普遜上校 last Commander MAAG, ROC, Taiwan
    and is part of a treasure trove of invitations from ROC military commanders, other Chinese dignitaries, ID tags, menus, greeting cards, airport brochures, thank you cards, photos and much, much more. USAAF Colonel
    Hadley N. Thompson
    served in the Air Force for 31 years  and finally as the last Commander MAAG, ROC, Taiwan, which ended upon U.S. President Jimmy Carter's decision to sever ties with Taiwan, in favor of Communist China! The photo of Thompson with his wife with a Chinese MiG is for continuity and is not included. This folder was removed from an album and would be a showpiece in any advanced collection.
