    Description

    Nippon Morimura Hand Painted White Wild Rose Scrollwork & Beaded Syrup Pitcher
    Pretty porcelain syrup pitcher and under plate. Nicely decorated with hand painted wild white roses with gold gilt highlights and small maroon flowers. With a dark beige border with black and gilt scrollwork overlay and gold beading. The handle and finial are gilded. Marked on the bottom Hand Painted Nippon with an M inside a wreath. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon ( Japan ) between 1911 and 1921.
    Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
    The syrup pitcher measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide from handle to spout by 4 inches tall.
    The under plate measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide.
    I have 2 of these available they are the same pattern but due to being hand painted the one you receive may vary slightly from the images in the listing.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
