    Description

    Nippon T.S. Hand Painted Butterfly Tea Cup and Saucer with Gold Trim.
    This set is for your butterfly lover!  They are very bright and cheerful.
    The Geometric gold design accents it beautifully.
    I did not put in the descriptive categories if it is antique or vintage, or if it is original or reproduction.
    It does have a "Hand painted T.S. Nippon" mark on the back of the cup, however the T.S. is in a diamond shape.
    The only "T.S." Nippon stamp I can find, after exhausting research, is the T.S. inside a fan shape.  So this has me stumped.
    On the other hand, I truly believe it is bone china due to it's characteristics.  It's thin and "see through" and very white, which indicates it is between 1890 & 1920.
