Ohio State University Studio Controlled Bubble Student Blown Glass Dish 2013 EUC

Well, well, what have we here?
Up for bid is this lovely piece of blown glass, featuring controlled bubbles in clear to yellow opalescent glass. The piece is signed Ohio State 2013, which I take to indicate student work. Nevertheless, the piece is striking. The bubbles are not perfectly aligned, but lovely nonetheless. The piece stands about 3" tall, with an upper diameter of around 4-7/8". The top of the piece is indented with a reservoir--just the right size for a small candle or votive. The base is equipped with red felt. The piece comes to you in excellent displayed condition, with perhaps a few light signs of surface wear commensurate with display, but no discernible signs of damage like chips or fractures.  What a lovely piece, sure to grace your home décor!
The cold, hard truth, aka shipping & handling terms:
As projected by eBay's shipping calculator, domestic shipping costs on Priority packages reflect USPS counter price--with First Class parcels being a close estimate of actual price within the fluctuating per-ounce rate--plus {{detail_product_description}}.73 in my handling fees.  International bidders will need to contact me for a shipping quote, which will include a 10% handling fee on postal costs.  This handling fee not only contributes toward the obvious selling expenses of bubble wrap, boxes, printer ink, and tape, but more significantly towards the steep selling fees imposed by Ebay on your total invoice (item + sales tax + shipping). Even the sale of a dollar mug will incur me over in fees--the higher the cost and weight of the item, so too the fees.  Without the buffer of a handling fee, I would not be able to afford to stay in business.
