    Description

    SUPERIOR Marbled Fountain Pen Italian 14 ct. #2 585 Nib (1930's-1950's).
    I do my best to describe each item to the best of my ability.  My research shows that these pens were made in Itally between tht 30's-50's.  This is a smaller pen that measures around 4 1/2 with cap on and around 5 1/2 inches in the writing position. It has a number 2 nib that is marked superior 585 2.  I believe this coloration is referred to as marbled.  I have inspected the cap and pen and found no cracks.  As you can see the back part screws off for filling.  I do not know the operational status of the pen so it is being sold as is.  Cap tightens nicely onto the body.  I leave this area slightly loose in shipping to prevent damage from package being tossed about.
    I am assisting with an estate and the gentleman had quite the collection of fountain pens and mechanical pencils.  Some are very unique.
