What a doll !!!  This is a Steiner "Series A" antique bisque doll.
For price reference see page # 463 in the book, 'Doll Values' 13th Edition by Linda Edward. And reference page # 82 in the book, "The Dolls of Jules Nicolas Steiner" by Dorothy A. McGonagle.  I have not undressed her because the dress is sewn tight to the body.  This tiny 12 inch beauty will melt your heart - her little face is meticulously painted and her bisque is perfect.  She has those sought after brown eyes.  Her left ear loe has a very tiny chip.  She is well marked on the back of her neck (see photo).  I can pull up her dress to see most of her body - -  It is her original French Steiner body with it's original finish. She is all dressed up in her antique blue velvet two-piece outfit; trimmed in lace and matching hat.  Her clothes are all antique as well.  She wears antique socks and antique leather shoes.  She wears a beautiful 100% Chevux Naturels (tagged) vintage wig that was made in France.  This sweet cabinet size girl will be a real standout in any collection.  From my home to yours.
