    The fan is held in place with a gentle grip of spring tension, and the beard is held in place thru the rubber grommet on the bottom of the kit. The wood is Select Cedar. Select means that the wood will be either knot free, or have very small tight attractive knots. The wood has 2 coats of a catalyzed lacquer satin finish.   Made in the USA in Southwest Wisconsin.
