UNUSUAL GLASS 9" BOWL/DISH, SPURIOUS L.C.T. FAVRILE SIGNATURE

This listing is for an unusual art glass bowl/dish with internal bronze stylized leaf design in clear glass with opalescent outer border.
Although this beautiful art glass dish is signed with a correct Tiffany type signature, we are certain that the signature has been added. We were told by the Estate's antiques appraiser that the dish was designed by Arthur Nash while he was working for Tiffany Studios and the dish is marked
with etched signature "L. C. T. Favrile, 3374-C".  We have been informed by a very knowledgeable individual that he agrees that the signature has been added. If you appreciate the beauty of this unusual dish, please purchase this as a lovely piece of hand made Art Glass but not as a guaranteed example of L. C. Tiffany's original art glass.
Measures 2" high and 9 1/8" in diameter. Weighs 1.5 pounds.

he dish is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Base may reflect minor signs of normal wear.
