Vintage 1940's Squirt Soda Bottle and Salt and Pepper Shakers ---3 Bottles
Set of 3 includes:
1  7 fl. oz. size Squirt Soda Bottle : 7 7/8 " tall by 2 1/4" at base
1  Squirt Salt Shaker Bottle with a chrome/metal lid:
1  Squirt Pepper Shaker Bottle with a chrome/metal lid:   Both shaker bottles measure 5 5/8" tall by 1 7/8 " at base
Please view the pictures for condition. No cracks or chips in the glass on any of the bottles.
The graphics on the shaker bottles seem sharp with minimal wear. Nice yellow and red sheen to the paint and green glass.
The metal lids have age related wear on the finish and some denting.
The 7 oz. green bottle is shiny green, with the front Squirt graphic faded with age, however the Squirt letters are clearly visible, with the faded background giving it a nice artistic survivor's touch. The graphics on the back are intact, slightly faded yet "In the public eye" and all of the rest of the print is clear and legible.
The 7 oz bottle has a 46 stamp on the bottom and the shakers have a 49 stamp on the bottom. Not a bottle expert, so please do your own research.
