For sale is the front page, news section of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram newspaper, December 9, 2004 Arlington edition (their hometown), covering the death of beloved local musician, Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Infamously murdered in 2004, Darrell and the band Pantera heralded from Arlington,Texas. Following the breakup of Pantera he was performing as a member of Damageplan at the time of the shooting that took his life. One of four killed that night, Darrell's musical influence was felt worldwide and his reputation as one of melodic metals best guitarist remain undimmed.This newspaper was saved and carefully taken care of by seller. It is in good condition and does not show the advanced yellowing some saved newspaper does. This sale is for only the front and rear page of section A news coverage of that day's paper and doesn't included entertainment, sports, etc, sections.Just the front and back page of the news section is in this sale.There was no obituary in that day's paper.
Just a side note, seller remembers Darrell as a young and struggling local musician in Arlington and you couldn't meet a nicer and more real person than he or his brother Vinnie. God rest them both.
