Vtg Italian Rainbow MOP Herringbone Satin Glass Cruet-Label-Mid Century Modern

Description

Here is an absolutely spectacular example of Italian mother of pearl art glass, satin glass. This cruet has bands of assorted bright colors with a visible underlying herringbone pattern. Most likely produced in the middle to later part of the 20th century, this example still has the original label attached to the bottom.  Normally this cruet would have a hand blown clear frosted stopper matching the reeded handle.  The cruet stands 6 1/2” tall with the base measuring approximately 4” diameter. After thorough examination I can fine no damage or repairs to this piece. I will mention the handle has no heat checks or cracks, albeit, a minute rough spot on the upper end where it was cut off at attachment. This fact mentioned for accuracy. I see no staining on the inside from use. Label intact and clearly readable.  Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
